Selena Gomez is an internationally famous actress and singer. One of the shows she has participated in and has enjoyed the most successful has been the Disney series called Wizards of Waverly Place. Selena Marie Gomez is her full name. Selena Gomez, born the city of Grand Prairie, Texas on the 22nd in 1992. Amanda Cornett is her mother and Ricardo Gomez is her father. Selena's mother was 16 an old when she came into the world. Selena got her first acting job as a showbiz actress at the age of 9 when she played Gianna in Barney and her Friends. This meant she was among several children to play with Barney, the famous human-like pink dinosaur. Selena was involved in several episodes from seasons 7 and 8, between 2001 and 2003. Selena wasn't the only performer who appeared in Barney as well as His Friends during this period. Demi Loveto also worked in the series. Selena Gomez, after she had left the series tried to audition for a variety of TV shows and films. Selena Gomez was cast as Julie on Walker Texas Ranger Trial by Fire and starred on Mini Spies 3 in 2003.
